We are living in a time of climate emergency. Every sector – from Arts & Culture to manufacturing, and from fashion to food – is exploring ways in which they can change their ways of working to support the planet. The festival sector is no different and although there have been positive trends in festivals when it comes to environmental impact, there is still a lot of work to do – therefore we chose to come together to find solutions via Future Festival Tools.

I am proud to have instigated and worked on this comprehensive toolkit for festivals that allows event professionals to assess where they are in their sustainability journey, be inspired by green festival stories from across Europe, learn how to deliver sustainability with our training course and how to inspire and teach others.
